Phaedra Chrousos, Angel Investor

I’m the Chief Operating Officer of Space Leasing International (SLI), Libra Group’s latest aerospace venture. We’re building a company that helps accelerate the space economy by providing capital and leasing solutions to operators, governments, and innovators pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in space. I’ve always been drawn to building things from the ground up — at Libra, that’s meant helping launch new businesses like SLI and Lomar Labs, our maritime venture lab focused on decarbonization. Before that, as Chief Strategy Officer, I worked across our global portfolio to help our companies integrate emerging technologies and unlock new opportunities. Earlier in my career, I co-founded two venture-backed tech companies and served in the Obama Administration, where I helped lead digital transformation efforts across government. Today, I continue to stay close to early-stage innovation as an angel investor and board member. I serve on the boards of Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Dcode, and the Beeck Center at Georgetown, supporting leaders and technologies that are shaping the future.
