Pat Ross, Angel Investor

Pat Ross currently serves as an Advisor and Investor at the Academy Investor Network, a diverse group of select U.S. Service Academy graduates who are business leaders, investment professionals, experienced venture investors, entrepreneurs, and advisors who are focused on dual-use technology investments (technologies that have both commercial and government purposes). He served as a Senior Vice President at Optum, an industry-leading services and technology company serving the healthcare market. He created technology-driven products & businesses that helped health plans achieve their business objectives. He led Optum's commercial health plan business associated with reducing healthcare costs and improving operational efficiencies within Optum's Payor organization. Prior to his current role, he also held various leadership positions within Optum's Fraud, Waste & Abuse business and Optum's Government Healthcare Programs (Medicare & Medicaid). Previously, Pat was a decorated military officer in the U.S. Army, completing assignments in both the U.S. and the Middle East, and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his distinguished service in Iraq.
