Oregon Sports Angels

Oregon Sports Angels (OSA) is an Oregon-based angel network. We are a non-profit, member-based organization made up of a diverse team of experienced sports, outdoor, and fitness industry professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and do-gooders. Our mission is to find and help grow the next great sports & fitness product and service companies. We focus our investments on high-potential, early-stage sports product, experience, service, and technology companies. In addition to investing, our members also mentor, coach, and connect entrepreneurs to resources needed for early-stage business development. We target EARLY STAGE companies who have achieved a level of market success and consumer adoption. • Early revenue, MVP or early prototypes • Seed stage/pre-series A • Investments range from $100k to $1M Teams with integrity. • We’re drawn to founders who are all in and can always be trusted to put the business first. • We assess: Leadership, expertise, passion, hustle, commitment, coachability, compatibility, diversity. Products with potential. • We’re energized by products that show promising traction with real value-creation. • We assess: Pain-point solution, compelling design, unique market positioning, replicability, sustainability. Opportunities that scale. • We’re optimistic about businesses that can be proven with a small investment, then grown to size. • We assess: Total addressable market, upside reality, supply chain setup, consumer engagement, and customer acquisition costs.
