Oregon City Microentreprise Grant Program

About Oregon City Microentreprise Grant Program

The recent worldwide economic challenge has caused many small businesses to permanently close their doors. As the economy returns to relatively normal conditions, many small businesses are faced with a new set of challenges. These challenges may include staffing shortages, delayed supply shipments, and increased operation costs. Businesses that support home deliveries or support home testing have an opportunity to respond to the issue. The Oregon City Economic Development Department has partnered with Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon (MESO) to create the Oregon City Microenterprise Grant Program. Both organizations are committed to supporting small businesses and microbusiness owners in our community and fostering local economic vitality. The Oregon City Microenterprise Grant Program will provide grant assistance of up to $10,000, along with business support and technical assistance services, to microenterprise businesses in Oregon City. A “microenterprise” is a business with five or fewer employees, including the business owner(s).
