Ontario Bioscience Industry Organization

OBIO supports early-stage and venture-backed life sciences and health tech companies enabling them to raise capital, hire and train industry-ready talent, facilitate the commercialization and market adoption of their technologies in health systems, and access infrastructure.   From a commercialization and market adoption’s perspective, we support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at each stage of their journey, starting at the early-seed stage of venture financing with access to capital then transitioning to Seed and post-Seed stage ventures with, and finally moving into the commercial stage and procurement programs. OBIO advances its mission through collaborative partnerships with industry, the investment community, academia, the healthcare system, and the government.
