Okanagan Women’s Mentoring and Angel Network (OKGN WMAN) is leveling the playing field faced by women owned and gender diverse businesses seeking investment and working to increase the number of women angel investors and board members in Western Canada. OKGN WMAN Angel Funds invests in Canadian women-led and gender-diverse businesses solving pressing social problems. Women-led and gender-diverse teams achieve significantly higher financial performance, yet women receive less than 3% of start-up capital. We’re putting our women-powered capital to work across a wide range of sectors. At the same time we’re improving our financial savvy and building networks with women-focused funds across Canada to source deal flow and resources for our funded ventures.
