Oana Olteanu, Angel Investor

Oana Olteanu is the Founder of Motive Force Ventures, a new VC firm focused on backing early‑stage companies building beautiful software. Previously, she was a Partner at SignalFire, where she led pre‑seed and seed investments, and an Associate at Scale Venture Partners. Her career reflects a strong focus on supporting founders from the earliest stages of company creation. Earlier, Oana spent seven years at SAP, working in both Germany and Silicon Valley in the Office of the CEO. She contributed to enterprise NLP product development and helped launch SAP.io, the company’s internal venture fund, where she led Bay Area deals and machine learning investments. As an angel investor, Oana has made about ten investments across AI, developer tools, and enterprise software. Her recent commitments include Digger, Mem, Alphadoc, and Overmind, highlighting her focus on startups innovating in infrastructure, productivity, and applied AI.
