Founded in 2000, North Sky Capital is a pioneer in impact investing in the United States with more than $2.1 billion of investor commitments. Now in our 25th year, we have deployed more than $1.6 billion across approximately 200 impact investments. Our two flagship investment strategies — impact secondaries (private equity) and sustainable infrastructure (direct) — support positive environmental and social impact while targeting market-rate investment returns. North Sky has been an active impact investor since the beginning of the modern era of private markets impact investing in 2005. Since 2003, we have identified and invested in companies, private equity funds, and infrastructure projects focused on making the world a better place. In 2005, North Sky launched the first impact fund of funds in North America. We have continued to innovate in this market, launching the first impact secondaries fund in 2013. Today, our Impact Secondaries Funds are the leading liquidity providers to impact investors worldwide. We are dedicated to bringing impact investors and innovation together through transformative investment funds. We currently invest across two strategies: impact private equity (secondaries) and sustainable infrastructure (directs).
