Nia Batts is an Angel Investor, CEO, Advisor, Activist, and General Partner. She is Chief Operating Officer & Managing Director at Union Heritage Ventures, a majority African American and woman-owned venture capital firm headquartered in Michigan. The firm's generalist approach focuses on the Consumer, Technology, Life Sciences, Mobility, Clean Energy/Climate Tech, Media and Entertainment, and Advanced Manufacturing sectors. She also serves alongside her business partner, Sophia Bush, as a Senior Advisor to First Women's Bank. Her latest investment is Mahmee, an integrated maternal and infant healthcare delivery platform that connects patients with healthcare providers.
