Neil Mitchell, Angel Investor

A co-founder of Player’s Health, he was also an early-stage and Series A investor in the company that specializes in risk management services and insurance solutions for athletes and sports organizations. As co-founder, he spent a considerable amount of time and resources: raising angel and institutional venture capital, establishing brand-name business partnerships, attracting talent, negotiating and securing insurance and reinsurance capacity, creating partner distribution relationships, and producing fee-generating client relationships, all of which served to significantly increase the value of the enterprise. In addition to co-founding and investing in Player’s Health, he served as an Advisor to the Founder & CEO, Executive Officer Board member, and was the company’s President of Risk Services & Insurance Solutions. Although no longer involved in the operations of Player’s Health, he remains an active promoter, investor, and shareholder in the organization and continues to assist and advise other early and emerging stage companies and their founders. Before engaging in entrepreneurial ventures, he previously worked for Marsh Canada, a subsidiary of Marsh, a global leader in Insurance Broking and Risk Management.
