Neda Barqawi, Angel Investor

Dr. Neda Barqawi has built a rich professional journey in Software and Systems Engineering, Program Management, and Leadership roles, navigating the tech industry's dynamic landscape. Her passion for entrepreneurship and innovation fuels her active engagement in startup accelerators and programs. As an angel investor and advisor, she champions promising tech ventures, contributing strategic insights and resources to help them disrupt markets and create value. Her influence extends to advisory boards of both innovative startups and nonprofit organizations. Neda's commitment to fostering global leadership and empowering future generations is echoed in her involvement with nonprofit organizations in higher education and leadership development. She is also passionate about empowering women in the tech industry – investing in their ventures, advocating for their representation on boards, and mentoring the next generation of female leaders. She joined the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF) in 2015 as a member and Chaired the SIBF Board for 2022. Currently, she serves as the VP of Program Development for SIBF. Additionally, she serves on the Georgia State University Foundation Board of Trustees.
