Nathan Blecharczyk is the co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Airbnb, where he has helped transform the company into one of the world’s leading travel and hospitality platforms. A computer scientist by training, Nathan previously served as Airbnb’s Chief Technology Officer, where he architected the core systems that enabled its rapid global scale. Before founding Airbnb, Nathan worked as a software engineer and entrepreneur, building data-driven systems and consulting for clients through his own firm. His leadership combines technical depth with long-term strategic vision, shaping Airbnb’s growth, innovation, and global impact. As an angel investor, Nathan has made about fifteen investments in emerging technology and sustainability ventures, including Beyond Aero, Samara, GitStart, and Swimply, supporting entrepreneurs advancing new frontiers in travel, aerospace, and digital infrastructure.
