About Mississippi Enterprise for Technology (MsET)

The mission of the Mississippi Enterprise for Technology (MSET) is to facilitate regional economic development by leveraging the resources of Stennis Space Center, the State, and the region to foster business opportunities among public and private entities. Representing the industry base at Stennis, from the smallest company to the largest federal agency or prime contractor, MSET provides a number of mechanisms to identify economic development and business opportunities in and around the region. MSET has a number of programs designed to inform candidate companies about procurement opportunities at Stennis and to assist companies in the goals for linking with Stennis agencies and companies, including: Monthly Lunch & Learn events Quarterly Stennis Business Consortium (SBC) meetings Technology Transfer Forums Stennis-based Business Incubator Resident and Affiliate Programs MSET, partnered with the University of Southern Mississippi, coordinates the Marine Industries Science & Technology (MIST) cluster. Under an SBA contract supporting MIST, MSET and USM provide direct support and linking services to small companies, as well as work toward the formalization of the cluster.
