A longstanding history of building large, strategic partnerships and businesses from scratch - including Citi’s direct bank. Most recently served as the Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer at RBC, Canada’s largest bank. Focused on creating new growth opportunities through acquisitions, strategic investments, and partnerships. Joined RBC from Capital One in the U.S., where he served as EVP, Consumer Banking Segment. Assumed responsibility for RBC's Personal Financing business in 2010 and was later promoted to lead RBC Bank in the US. Mike is also an angel investor with investments primarily in the pre-seed funding round. His portfolio includes Requity Homes.
