Michael Wong, Angel Investor

Michael Wong, known as Mizko, is a designer-turned-angel investor and co-founder of Raw.Studio, a branding and UI/UX design firm. He also founded Mizko Media, a design and product studio that has built, acquired, and scaled internet businesses since 2008. Beyond angel investing, he runs Designership (hands-on design education), Designer News (a design community and media platform), and Choppity (AI video editing software), all under the Mizko Media umbrella of owned products. Through Raw.Studio, he has led product and design work for 45+ startups, including Autotrader (acquired by eBay), PhoneWagon (acquired by CallRails), Spaceship, Snappr, and Archistar, helping these companies collectively raise over $250M in venture funding. His investment arm, Mizko VC, backs design-led founders and products.
