Michael May is an angel investor with a strong focus on aerospace, transportation, and manufacturing. He also provides technical due diligence for other angels and VCs. His journey includes stops as a tank mechanic, an academic, a consultant, a junior federal official, an investment portfolio manager, and a bartender. He serves as a Technical Due Diligence Consultant at Dana Point Analytics. Formerly, he was the Portfolio Director of Research & Engineering at the United States Department of Defense, where he assessed a multi-billion dollar system for the Pentagon's chief weapon buyer. He was also a Program Manager at the Institute for Defense Analyses and a former Researcher at Johns Hopkins University.
