MediaTek Ventures is the strategic investment arm of the global semiconductor firm MediaTek Inc. The fund was established with roughly US $300 million from the company’s balance sheet to invest in venture- and expansion-stage companies worldwide.
The firm focuses on innovation in semiconductors, systems and devices, IoT, and information-technology infrastructure. It invests globally—including in Greater China, Europe, Japan, and North America.
Beyond providing capital, MediaTek Ventures offers portfolio companies access to MediaTek’s engineering expertise, global partner network, market insights, and R&D capabilities—intended to bridge early-stage technology to large commercial ecosystems.
