Maulik Majmudar, Angel Investor

Maulik Majmudar is Chief Medical Officer and Co‑Founder of Biofourmis, a health AI company backed by SoftBank that is expanding into clinical care. A cardiologist by training, he previously served as Medical Officer at Amazon, where he helped lead the company’s push into wearables with Amazon Halo. He also contributes to global strategy as a member of Swiss Re’s CEO Strategic Council and teaches as a visiting lecturer at Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School. Earlier in his career, Maulik was Associate Director of the Healthcare Transformation Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital and served as a medical advisor to health technology startups, including HiLabs and Quanttus. His work reflects a consistent focus on applying technology and data to improve patient outcomes and transform healthcare delivery.
