Matt McIlwain is the Managing Director of a Seattle-based venture group, investing mainly in seed and series A technology-based companies. At the same time, he is also an angel investor with investments in the early series funding rounds. His personal investment portfolio includes Suger, a marketplace platform, and Deepcell, a life science company specializing in AI-powered single-cell classification and isolation for basic and translational research. Previously, he was the Vice President of Business Process at Genuine Parts Company. He was also a former Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company.
