Matthew Liu is a Co-founder of Origin Protocol, a software development firm that builds permissionless DeFi products for liquid staking and stablecoins. He is a serial entrepreneur and product executive with specialized experience across blockchain, cryptocurrency, consumer Internet, advertising platforms, ecommerce, growth marketing, and personal finance. He was one of the earliest YouTube product managers. Matthew is also an angel investor and early-stage advisor to Solana (SOL), Biconomy (BICO), Naos Finance (NAOS), XMTP, Webacy, Lum, and several other companies. Seed to growth stage investments include Brave, Chia, Boba Network, Amber Group, SuperLayer, XMTP, Webacy, Noots, Vibely, Float, Endiatix, ForUsAll, Hashflow, Legitimate Tech, Mootral, Bright, Built Robotics, Immi, and many others. He has invested in and advised several dozen startups, primarily in Web3.
