Matthew Katz, Angel Investor

Matthew Katz is an angel investor focused on blockchain infrastructure and decentralized technology startups. His investments include Halliday, a blockchain development platform, and SOON, a Web3-focused startup operating in the crypto ecosystem. His investment activity has centered on early-stage and growth-stage blockchain financings. Matthew participated in Halliday’s Series A round, where the company raised a total of $20M, and also backed SOON through an angel financing round. Matthew has been CEO and co-founder of Caldera for over four years, helping blockchain developers build scalable applications and infrastructure. Earlier in his career, he held software engineering internships at Warp and Skiff, the latter of which was later acquired by Notion.
