We started Matchstick to support the creation and growth of early-stage technology companies in rapidly growing, underserved startup ecosystems. And, to show founder-first, modern, and collaborative relationships are the way to go. We put people first. ‍ We've seen firsthand that world-changing companies can be created anywhere. ‍ We're here to support entrepreneurs with a connection to these ecosystems, bringing the capital, camaraderie, connections, and community they need to achieve their dreams. Our approach Starting a company is hard, we know. So we flip the traditional VC script - we believe we work for you, not the other way around. We're not afraid to invest when it's just an idea, or it's time to scale, and everything in between. We also have deep relationships with top-tier co-investors to help you scale. ▪ Camaraderie We build trustworthy, honest, loyal, and supportive relationships with the founders we work with - providing hands-on help, being the first call, and always in your corner, no matter what's happening. ▪ Connections We have 400+ of the most successful entrepreneurs, operators, and corporate partners in our ecosystems as friends, mentors, and investors in our fund. They're excited to help with mentorship and connections. ▪ Community We know starting a company can be lonely, so we build a community of fellow entrepreneurs, mentors, and friends around our companies to provide support and make the startup journey more fun.
