Massachusetts Dredging Grant

EOED is piloting an inland dredging grant round open to all 351 municipalities in Massachusetts. This round offers final design and construction grants for the dredging of freshwater lakes, ponds, rivers, streams, and drinking water reservoirs, as well as dredging required for the removal of municipal dams. For complete information, please see the RFP on COMMBUYS. Please note that grants awarded through the Inland Dredging Pilot Round are available only for freshwater dredging. Saltwater dredging applications will be accepted in the FY25 general grant round, which is anticipated to open in late winter or early spring of calendar year 2024.
