Maryland’s Chesapeake and Coastal Grants Gateway (Grants Gateway)

Maryland's Chesapeake and Coastal Grants Gateway is a platform designed to simplify grant applications for organizations working on environmental projects. It offers a central location for funding and technical support, aiming to foster healthy ecosystems, communities, and economies in the face of challenges like climate change and population growth. The Gateway supports projects across various areas, including waterway restoration, flood resilience, habitat restoration, environmental education, and sustainable water usage. Funding comes from multiple sources, including the Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays Trust Fund and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Additionally, the program offers a Shoreline Erosion Loan Program to help protect waterfront property and wildlife habitat.
