Marc Bevand, Angel Investor

Marc Bevand is an independent researcher and active angel investor member of California-based Tech Coast Angels. He has been funding seed-stage companies since 2016 in the US and Europe. His areas of interest are cryptocurrencies, InfoSec, GPGPU (general-purpose graphics processing unit), IoT, and home automation. He started his career in 2003 as a software engineer in Information Security, held various positions at Google, Rapid7, and other companies, and co-founded Bitcoin ASIC hardware maker Thin Air Ventures. He holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from EPITA, France.
