Mahavir Patel is a proven leader, investor, operator, and innovator in the hotel industry. His Appalachian sense of hospitality and Indian heritage inspire him to create environments that have soulful connections to the destinations where they are located, sharing with guests a reverence for all that has come before. With a focus on investing in communities that have growing demand and limited supply, investing in both capital and culture, he partners with Marriott, Hilton, and IHG, as well as some of the most provocative creatives and curators in our country. An avid lover of design, art, and architecture, Mahavir works to protect the arts as he sits on the board of the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, as well as dedicating himself to the fight for equal access to education and health opportunities by serving as a local board member for the United Way.
