About Lorne Abony, Angel Investor

Lorne Abony is an experienced entrepreneur whose many successful ventures include the 2001 co-founding of FUN Technologies (“FUN”), an AIM and Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) listed company. In 2004 as CEO of FUN, he became the youngest CEO of a listed company on the TSX and sold FUN in 2006 to Liberty Media for Cdn$484 million. He is a Board Member of Meatable and Einride, a Member of the Board of Directors of IAC and Pluri, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Voxia and EMMAC Life Sciences. He’s also been an angel investor as early as 2014 primarily in the seed and early series rounds. Some of his investments are in Voxia (AI voice platform), Socati (cannabinoid), Schoold (college counseling platform), and Capture.it (time tracking app).
