Long Term Impact

Long Term Impact is an edtech pre-seed investment fund for founders who are committed to building long-term, sustainable businesses that create a more equitable PreK-12 school system. We believe that high impact doesn’t necessarily mean fast growth. We can be fully supportive of founders, their mission, and the pace at which they want to grow their companies. This is because we are under no outside pressure to gain a financial return on investment, as we have no Limited Partners. We invest $150K. We then actively engage with founders to work toward financial sustainability by helping them iterate their sales process, establish product-sales fit, and move toward a repeatable and scalable sales motion. We also coach founders on other aspects of their business as needed. This process takes time, energy, and focus, so we strongly prefer to invest early in founders who are not actively raising a round.
