LOI Venture is a Canadian venture capital firm co-founded in December 2021 by Hootsuite co-founder Ryan Holmes. It runs a $20M pre-seed and seed fund linked to the League of Innovators, a charity offering mentorship and programming to young entrepreneurs, and hosts founder events, fireside chats, and demo days. Its portfolio spans AI, fintech, consumer goods, health, climate, and enterprise software. Portfolio companies include Blossom Social, Webacy, Reusables, Blume, Otter, Xatoms, Hook Security, Unified, Precognition Labs, and Layers. LOI Venture writes checks of around $100K, backing founders under 30 enrolled in the League of Innovators program, mainly in Canada. It occasionally invests outside the program, but most deal flow is reserved for graduates, pairing early capital with the program's community.
