Lilian Weng is an angel investor focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning startups. Her investments include Dex, an AI productivity platform, Simular, an AI agent startup, and Brightwave, an AI-powered enterprise research platform. Her investment activity has centered on seed-stage companies. Lilian participated in the seed rounds for Dex, Simular, and Brightwave, where the companies raised a total of $4.8M, $5M, and $6M, respectively. Lilian has been Co-Founder of Thinking Machines Lab for over a year, leading the AI research company. Before that, she served as VP of Research and Safety at OpenAI, overseeing AI safety and research initiatives.
