About Libertyville The Business Resiliency Grant
The Village Board reappropriated approximately $100,000 in funds towards two business support programs. Funds will be allocated in the form of matching grants. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis
▪ Business Resiliency Grant
The Business Resiliency Grant program is designed to encourage existing business growth, expansion, and sustainability. Up to $5,000 may be requested per business, provided that the amount does not exceed 50% of the total project cost.
Application is limited to businesses that are customer-facing, brick & mortar, sales tax producing entities. The Village reserves the right to award grants in its sole discretion based on its review and after considering the cost/benefit to the community. Funds are limited and grants are not guaranteed unless approved by the Village.
▪ Façade & Property Enhancement Grant
The Façade & Property Enhancement grant will encourage renovation to dated or deteriorated existing facades or site conditions on commercial buildings in certain commercially zoned districts outside the downtown.
Up to $25,000 may be requested per building, provided that the amount does not exceed 50% of the total project cost. The Façade & Property Enhancement Grant is a competitive program given limited available funds, and the Village reserves the right to award grants in its sole discretion based on its review and after considering the cost/benefit to the community. Funds are limited, and grants are not guaranteed unless approved by the Village.
