Lauren Selig, Angel Investor

Lauren Selig is the founder of Shake and Bake Productions, Curiosity Ink, V.A.L.I.S., and Tangled Little Dragon. She is an advisor to several companies, including Pendrell, New Republic Pictures, Inveniam, Bold Capital, and WETA. Lauren has produced dozens of Academy and Emmy award-winning productions, including Hacksaw Ridge, Rocketman, and Wheel of Time. Lauren was a managing member of Microsoft in Platforms Business Development, practiced international licensing for music company Playnetworks, and was a story editor for Dreamworks and Variety. Lauren holds a B.S. in International Relations from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service as well as a JD-MBA in technology management from Northwestern and the University of Washington. Lauren is a writer, a mom, and serves on the boards of the X Prize, Ackerley Sports Group, and advises several cryptocurrency companies. She is an early investor in several companies, including publicly traded Vaxxinity, Bulletproof Coffee, Colossal, Hashgraph, and Solana.
