Laguna Bay was established in 2010 and is one of the longest-standing agri fund managers in Australia. Our research-driven, value-based investment strategy builds scalable and sustainable food and agribusinesses, to the benefit of all. We have consistently generated attractive returns by aligning our investor and operating partners in resilient assets and businesses with durable long-term strategies. Our team includes 10 investment professionals with average industry-relevant experience of over 18 years. We serve institutional, wholesale and sophisticated investors. Strategy We provide our investment partners with exposure to three key themes – rising food demand, decarbonisation and inflation. We leverage our deep local networks to source proprietary off-market opportunities and develop business partnerships with top-quartile operators. We apply a top-down, theme-driven approach to our origination activities, while remaining opportunistic. We typically favour control investments. When we make an investment, we do so with a high degree of conviction. We focus on opportunities where earnings can be grown year-on-year and which are positioned for significant capital appreciation over the longer term. We’re an active asset manager that seeks to maximise the productive potential of our assets and proactively guide sustainability initiatives.
