Lachy Groom, Angel Investor

Lachy Groom is an angel investor who has made over 170 investments across fintech, healthtech, and emerging technology. His most recent portfolio includes Ambrook, a fintech platform for agriculture; Meticulous, a software testing company; Chai Discovery, an AI-driven drug discovery firm; and Vetic, a veterinary health services startup. He has participated in seed, Series A, Series B, Series C, and venture rounds, supporting companies at both early and scaling stages. Most recently, Lachy has served as Co-Founder of Physical Intelligence since 2024, focusing on AI innovation. Prior to that, he was Head of Stripe Issuing from 2012 to 2018, where he played a key role in building Stripe’s financial infrastructure products.
