Dr. Kris Singh is the founder, president, and CEO of Holtec International, which he established in 1986 and grew into a multinational company with operations across five continents. He is widely recognized for his impact on nuclear energy and mechanical engineering. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and has authored over 70 technical papers, a textbook, and 85 patents. His innovations are used in more than 120 nuclear plants worldwide, and he is leading efforts to develop a “walk-away safe” small modular reactor. He serves on boards including the Nuclear Energy Institute, Cooper Health System, and the Atlantic Council, and chairs the KPS Foundation, which supports science, literacy, and public health.
