Kingfisher Investment is a venture growth firm focused on mid and late-stage technology companies, with a bias towards enterprise software and corporate IT Infrastructure. Kingfisher has the flexibility to make either primary or secondary investments helping companies with both growth equity and near-term liquidity needs of individual shareholders. Over the years, many of the companies Kingfisher invested in have become category leaders (and sometimes household names), including Arista Networks, Coursera, DocuSign, Domo, Fastly, Five9, Lyft, Palantir Technologies, Planet Labs, RingCentral, and SimilarWeb. Kingfisher is currently investing from its over-subscribed 4th vintage. Our bite-size is flexible, ranging from $5M to $25M. In July 2023, Preqin, a leading company in data analysis and market insights for the Alternative Asset community, placed two of Kingfisher’s most recent funds in the top 1% globally of realized performance. The study ranked KEP III 5th out of over 700 PE/VC funds globally sized up to $250M. Similarly, KEP II was ranked 7th by the same study. We work collaboratively with Management, and we close our investments quickly and quietly.
