Ken Borkan, Angel Investor

Ken Borkan is the Founder and President of KB Capital, an early-stage investment firm based in Los Angeles that serves as his angel investing platform. He previously served as Director of Strategy, Operations & Research for the Phoenix Suns' Marketing Partnership group and sat on the NBA's Analytics Advisory Board. Before the Suns, Ken was a senior analyst at Capital One, developing credit policy and line optimization strategies. Ken is a prolific angel investor with a portfolio spanning sports and entertainment technology, cannabis, social impact, deep tech, AI, and space — with over a dozen investments including Sandbox VR, an immersive location-based VR experience company; PAX Labs, a consumer vaporizer brand; Impulse Space, an in-space mobility and logistics company; and Elevate K12, an edtech platform bringing live, certified teachers to underserved schools.
