Kelly Wallick is a Founder, Community Builder, Angel Investor, and Perpetual Optimist. Kelly has been in the games industry for over 10 years with a focus on supporting new creators and building supportive communities. She is the founder of Indie MEGABOOTH, a globally renowned platform for indie developers that worked with over 800 companies across 36 countries, showcasing 900+ unique titles at 33 global events in the span of a decade. On top of creating a pathway for success for indie developers, Kelly acts as the Community Builder for the 1UP Fund and was the longest-sitting Chair of the Independent Games Festival and the first woman to hold the title. Kelly began her work with the 1Up Fund at its inception, with a shared value around community and industry good. She works alongside Ed Fries to bring about community-driven changes to the industry through innovative and creative investments in the top indie teams working today. In addition, Kelly is proud to serve on the GLAAD Media Award Advisory Board, which focuses on cultural change and accelerating acceptance for the LGBTQ community with a focus on lived equality.
