About Katherine Przygode, Angel Investor

As a seasoned IT executive and entrepreneur turned investor, I bring over 25 years of experience leading IT organizations for innovative Silicon Valley startups, including Match.com, IGN.com, WagerWorks.com, and Edmunds.com. After earning my MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, I founded Stratalux—one of the earliest AWS Managed Services Providers—helping companies such as DreamWorks Animation, Red Digital Cinema, Vonage, TopGolf, and Carl’s Jr. migrate and manage their IT infrastructures in the cloud. After successfully scaling Stratalux into a leading cloud-based MSP, I sold Stratalux to a Boston-based private equity firm and shifted my focus to angel investing and management consulting. Today, I am the Founder and Managing Partner of Venusberg Ventures, where I manage investments in deep tech SaaS and AI-enabled companies. I also advise various boards and am actively involved with Tech Coast Angels, where I serve on the Executive, Fund, and Pre-screening committees. I’m passionate about giving back to the UCLA Anderson community, where I serve as the President of Board Connections at Anderson, an industry group dedicated to helping fellow alumni prepare for corporate and non-profit board service. Additionally, I am a member of the career & industry committee of the UCLA Anderson Alumni Network Board of Directors and mentor startups through the UCLA Anderson Venture Accelerator.
