Karim Elsahy, Angel Investor

Karim Elsahy is the founder and CEO of Elves, a travel platform that pairs local experts with AI to deliver authentic travel experiences. Since launching in 2017, he has led the company from its base in San Francisco and Cairo, building on his vision of combining technology with human expertise to create more personalized journeys. Previously, Karim founded Konnecti, a platform mapping the “corporate graph,” and Genius Ventures, which was acquired by Sawari Ventures. He also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Sawari, gaining early exposure to venture capital and the startup ecosystem across the MENA region. As an angel investor, Karim participated in the Series A round of Opendoor Technologies, supporting the company’s mission to transform the real estate market through technology.
