Juniper Equity uses both organic and inorganic growth strategies to increase value for our equity holdings. Our partners have backgrounds in investment banking, private investing, due diligence, and acquisition integration. The partners at Juniper have worked across all industries and have experience with small local businesses up to Fortune 100 Corporations. Juniper's partners have worked with and helped improve over 500 businesses throughout their respective careers. Juniper takes a patient and flexible approach to investing. This allows our group to take advantage of opportunities created by special situations and focus on capturing full value from each investment. Juniper views each investment as a strategic partnership with the business. Juniper is focused on middle-market and lower middle-market businesses where the partners have specific skills or experience that help add significant value to the business.
