We are an investment partner with experience in transforming ideas into thriving businesses We invest in businesses from pre-seed to pre-IPO and as part of a restructure event. Every time we make an investment, it’s slightly different, but this is the general process you can expect. Raising money is one of the hardest and most stressful things a founder can do. We work hard to make the process as easy and straightforward as we can for you and your team. Week 1 We receive your pitch deck. Usually, we are introduced to you by a mutual contact. Sometimes we are emailed cold, and that works. Week 2 Catch up with our Executive team, informal, friendly, mutual discussion. Are we the right fit for each other? Week 3 Your partner discusses your startup at our weekly Investment Meeting. Week 4 Follow-up from the Investment Meeting. This is also when our version of due diligence starts. Week 5 You’ll run through your pitch and then field questions from a number of our key investor group. After the meeting, we will get in touch within a few hours with a plan for follow-up. It’s possible at this point we might need to undertake more due diligence. Week 6 It’s a Yes or, perhaps unfortunately, a no. Either way, we want to tell you as soon as we possibly can. Week 7 Term Sheet Time Week 8 Full Documents & Funding transfer. Once we are done, you join our team, and we work together to manage growth and scale in your business and execute on your dreams.
