Julie Lohrmann, Angel Investor

Julie Lohrmann is an angel investor and member of an angel group that advises and invests in startup companies and is the most active early-stage investor group in the Midwest. Most recently, she spent a decade at Prytania Asset Management, serving as Managing Director and later as Board Member Designee on the Investment Risk Committee, where she helped guide strategy and oversight for one of the leading specialists in securitized credit. Before Prytania, Julie was a Portfolio Manager at GCM Grosvenor, overseeing $5B in alternative investments across public and private securities. She built customized portfolios for major clients and conducted due diligence on hundreds of investment managers. Earlier in her career, Julie held treasury leadership roles at Hillshire Brands (formerly Sara Lee) and Baxter International.
