Dr. Joshua Boger is the founder of Vertex Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: VRTX), where he served as CEO for more than 20 years and later chaired the board’s Science & Technology Committee. A pioneer in structure‑based drug design, he previously led research teams at Merck and built an international reputation for applying computer modeling to drug discovery. He currently chairs the board of CervoMed, a clinical‑stage company developing treatments for dementia with Lewy bodies, and serves as a consultant and former executive chair of Alkeus Pharmaceuticals, advancing therapies for Stargardt disease.
