Jonathan Swanson, Angel Investor

Jonathan Swanson is the Co-Founder & Executive Chairman of Thumbtack, the online home-services marketplace. He later founded Powerset, supporting elite founders with angel capital, and currently leads Athena, a world-class delegation and coaching platform for high-performing leaders. Previously, he served as a West Wing staffer on environmental policy in the White House. Jonathan is also an angel investor. His two most recent investments are Openlayer, where he participated in the Seed round, and Superorder, also in a Seed round. He has additionally backed Pareto.AI, Rocketlane, and MasterClass in earlier seed-stage investments. He brings deep leadership in marketplace building, founder support, and executive operations to his angel investing, focusing on seed-stage startups transforming productivity, SaaS, and consumer services.
