Jonathan Oberheide is an Angel Investor, Board Member & Startup Advisor. After spending 12 years building Duo, the next phase of Jonathan's career is focused on giving back to the next generation of founders and companies. He loves working with cybersecurity and enterprise SaaS companies, through board service, advising, and investing in his balance sheet. Previously, he was the co-founder and CTO of Duo Security, scaling the business from zero to 30,000 customers, $500M ARR, a 70+ NPS, and 1000 FTEs. Along that journey, Duo was acquired by Cisco in 2018 for $2.4B. His latest investment is in Dropzone AI, a platform that delivers pre-trained autonomous AI security agents that work alongside human analysts on security operations teams. Before Duo, he completed PhD at the University of Michigan with a thesis on leveraging the cloud for delivering security services. In his prior life, he enjoyed offensive security research.
