Jonathan Marcel, Angel Investor

Jonathan Marcel is a deep tech enthusiast and an angel investor. As a Venture Associate at Capital Factory, he helps identify and support promising startups in the tech ecosystem of Houston and Texas broadly. He leverages his BS in Physics from Houston Baptist University to evaluate the technical and scientific aspects of the ventures, as well as his experience in Business Development to help identify the potential in their respective markets. Jonathan is also an Angel Squad Member at Hustle Fund, where he invests in early-stage founders who are building innovative and scalable solutions. In addition, he has been the Program Director at Next Generation Athletics since 2017, where he has overseen the skill development of over 100 youth basketball players, with a focus on fostering teamwork, leadership, and excellence.
