ExCITE

Riverside ExCITE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tech incubator in downtown Riverside, California, opened in 2015 in partnership with the City of Riverside, the County of Riverside, and UC Riverside’s Office of Technology Partnerships. It supports high-tech startups with co-working space, networking, workshops, and mentoring. Its incubation program runs six to 12 months, with flexible month-to-month, pay-as-you-go agreements that let companies upgrade as they grow. Members get conference rooms, break-out areas, and individualized support from UC Riverside’s EPIC SBDC at no cost, through its team of entrepreneurs in residence. Startups prepare for funding readiness through specialized programs, workshops, access to capital, and SBIR/STTR assistance. The incubator focuses on high-growth science and technology companies across biotech, software as a service, energy, agtech, and water solutions. Associated startups include Glid Technology, Super Foam, Seedorina, StarNAV, Apsidal, Deepbits, Hybrid Habitats, Solarflux, and Globe Biomedical.
