John Ferrell, Angel Investor

John Ferrell is a co-founder of Huntress, a cybersecurity company he has helped build since 2015 into a unicorn now safeguarding over four million endpoints across thousands of businesses worldwide. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Engineering (Cybersecurity) from the University of Maryland. Prior to Huntress, John spent three years as a CNO Developer at StrategicIO, building advanced cyber capabilities and tools, and another three years as a CNO Analyst/Engineer at ManTech International Corporation, contributing to critical network defense initiatives. He also held roles as a Linux Systems Engineer at SPARTA and a Network Security Engineer earlier in his career. John is an angel investor as well, with a known investment in IntelliGRC, a GRC platform built for MSPs and MSSPs to deliver cyber compliance at scale, which raised a $3.5M Seed Round.
