Joe Beda, Angel Investor

Joe is a professional Software Engineer with experience with Microsoft and Google, living and working in the Seattle area. Joe is an active angel investor. Recent investments include AirSignal, Hedgehog, Bluesky, Edera, Bitdrift, Cuttle Labs, SPIRL, Diagrid and Groundlight. Beyond that Joe advises startups and VCs in both a formal and informal capacity. Professionally, Joe was most recently a Principal Engineer at VMware, helping to drive Cloud Native technologies (including Kubernetes). He joined via the acquisition of Heptio, a startup he founded with Craig McLuckie. Joe has a wide variety of skills and experience. Most recently, Joe co-founded the Kubernetes project (http://kubernetes.io) to manage clusters of compute containers.
